Message from Dr. Robert I. Winer, President

When I first started to write articles and then books I found myself significantly lacking in knowledge. Through trial and error I found the right resource material and learned by what I believe is the best method, practice.

I'd like to suggest you read Strunk and White's "Elements of Style." This short (less than 100 pages) book should be read over again atleast once a year. I've found that anything written by Rudolph Flesch is helpful. Do your best to write down (simplify, make more conversational, shorter sentences, active verbs).

I'd love to add your favorites to this section. So send them to me. Let me know your thoughts about the choices along with any comments. If you use any material from this website, please cite us and also consider a link to our website as this helps us fulfill our mission.
