creativity and problem solving

Message from Dr. Robert I. Winer, President

Problems are the fodder that promotes growth. Life without the challenge of new obstacles to overcome would severely limit us as human beings. Someone once told me that the Chinese word for crisis means "opportunity." So instead of seeing only the negative of a situation, one is encouraged to look at it as an "opportunity" for a new future. This forward looking approach seems to be part of my temperament. Perhaps it was the "reason" behind my career in medicine.

The articles on creativity will help those with an interest in expanding their idea and concept-generating abilities.
