  2. Have I done this sort of thing before? How did I do it?

  3. Could I do this some other way?

  4. How did other people tackle this?

  5. What kind of person or persons am I dealing with?

  6. How can this situation be changed to fit me?

  7. How can I adapt myself to this situation?

  8. How about using more? Less? All of it? Only a portion? One only? Two? Several?

  9. How about using something else? (Substitution) Something older? Something newer? Something more expensive? Something cheaper?

  10. How near? (Distance/Direction) How
    far? In what direction?

  11. How soon? (Time) How often? Since when? For how long?

  12. Could I do this in combination? With whom? With what?

  13. How about doing the opposite?

  14. What would happen if I did nothing?
